The Harry is Michel crowd (SPOILERS)
Please explain the killing of Plum. That's the one that makes no sense to me. Besides, there are psychopaths like Harry everywhere, particularly here in the US.
shareI think he did it for two reasons. One is because Michel had called her a "simple minded cow" in anger. Despite Harry's psychopathic attempts to guide Michel's life, he was still a hero to Harry. Having him say that made it clear to Harry how others saw her and how that, by association, made him look.
The second reason was to goad Michel into killing his own family. In his distorted world view, the only way Michel, with Harry as a sidekick, could achieve great things was by getting rid of anyone who he thought was dragging them back, such as Plum, Claire or Michel's kids.
