Bodyguard and his girlfriend

I'm not sure, but at the end when he discovered by his friend that the criminal he couldn't send to prison was arrested by his former chief, he goes to his girlfriend and he can't ring his door. Like he reassures his code of moral/immoral. He finally can't stand Manie's way of life, selling drugs. If it is that way, i think it is a great scene. What do you think?

I just finished watching the movie on Netflix. I'm pretty sure that's the case. As a man of law, he just couldn't do it.

I didn't quite understand his reaction but I would not attribute it to her selling hash, not drugs in the plural. He seemed unable to commit. Lots of women. Short term contracts for work. Didn't stick in the police as had his colleague. And so on. I believe this was what led to him turning away. She was hesitant too; looking out from the window for him but not wanting him to see her.

Why problem make? When you no problem have, you don't want to make ...

I think he was just not enough in love or not enough brave to love her, even beyond the hush.
If drug was the problem, he would have left her the same day he found she was a pusher; an he did, but he came back too. So, why this time he left for good?
To me, things were becoming too serious between them and he simply was not able to really "marry" her. Marry/stay with her was good when it was only a joke.

I agree, especially if you think about the discussion he has with Alain Chabat's caracter, when he calculates the amount of women one gets in his life. One of the best scenes ever by the way...

Whose door he can't ring? You sad "his door". If it was typo, then no, he doesn't reassures his code of moral/immoral. If you watched the movie till the end, you would've seen that he finally rang her door, they kissed passionately and lived happily ever after :)
The significance of his former chief finally arresting the bad guy is that the reason the Bodygard left the police was that he and his idol chief couldn't touch the bad guy. The chief stayed. In the end, the chiefs patience and commitment were rewarded. That's why he decided to commit to Manie regardless of her doing illegal staff (remember when he told his story about his chief, he sad that the bad guy was "above the law")
