Ok who's a worse actor?

Pras or Ja Rule? And how did Jason Statham get involved in this mess?

reply

God, they're both awful. I only own it for the awesome Jason Statham... Statham's major weakness seems to be choosing lousy scripts/films...

i dont think pras is particularly a BAD actor, thats too harsh of a word to describe. ja rule is really a good actor; if you watch fast and furious he is in it, tho he is in it for the small part so keep a watch out for him in that.

but id say pras has this thing where in the movie, some scenes of him are fine, whereas in most others its all up and down if you can understand my meaning.

eg. the scene where he and his onscreen gf yap on about sumthing and there was this bit of her asking if she could reach him on his mobile, in which pras's character bawks at the idea of her calling him anytime and he then mumbles off sumthing about how by giving out his number to her he'd feel like he has a leash and having her call him whenever makes him feel like he's contained within a womb or sumshi--t LOL. that bit im unsure what he really said, but basically its not so much what he's saying to her but HOW he's delivering his lines.

lets get this out of the way, pras has screen pressence; he's tall, alright looking(im a guy but not gay ok), and a really great rapper from what i heard in the movie; the song he raps in the club:AWESUM. and before that the montage of him getting together in the studio making that song real fly and having the others digging his flow, and that other dude just shaking his head out and being spaced out on crack or sumthing, like he's all wack LOL, i thought he was a dkhead but anyway. those couple scenes i liked, cos diamond(pras)after having inspiration from his father regarding how music should be made in that piano scene suddenly gives him that inspiration to make his music better. the guy that played the father was pretty good also, if i remember rightly, he was in chicago hope am i right?

BUT.............as an actor he could do better, maybe work on his monotomy in the way he talks and delivers his lines; being that this movie was made in 2000 i can only hope he has improved himself overtime.

so does anyone agree as to what i said. its cool if you dont, just wanna know why.

he has sum factor to him, im sure in years to come he will be a better actor by then. BUT the way he delivers his lines..............MAN its kinda nearly robotic in a way. can anyone agree. in sum scenes he can talk a lil normal whereas in a few of these its almost monotomious-sorry bad spelling hehe. but you get what im saying right?
