I had no clue what this hotel was until I looked it up. Apparently, a lot of rock stars stayed there. Suzi Quatro had mentioned how she kept seeing Joan sitting in the lobby after each one of her shows. What a classy name for a hotel too, even though it isn't called that anymore.

Check out Almost Famous, there's a couple of scenes about the Riot House and the rock and roll atmosphere in the 70ies
