Hard to believe it's been so long. I always expected another volume to be made. A 3D mocap would be great. Space Pirate Captain Harlock gives a great impression for what that could look like.

In the beginning there was nothing, and it exploded.
baffles me that this movie doesn't have a sequel and that it and/or Castlevania haven't been adapted for other media.

Hey dude! I definitely agree! This is my favourite Anime and Vampire movie of all time. I love watching this and the original 1985 movie all the time! I'm obsessed! If they made another film it would be a dream come true!

I'm just so dumbfounded that no action has been taken to develop another installment or adapt it for another medium. Maybe they have in Japan & we in the States just haven't heard about it.

The new VHD project atm (besides the novels and the novel spin-offs) is the new tv series. It's currently in the pre-production stages. The producers are actually getting ready to release new concept art this week.

There's also a fangroup on facebook that I help admin, where you can nerd out with other VHD fans.
