Anyone else freaked by the mother's smile at the end?

That part totally freaked me out. You know, the one where she smiles at the newly released patient? That sent chills threw my body. Did it gives anyone else the creeps? I just saw this on Lifetime. Ya I know, it is a womens' channel, but I love horror/thriller.

Yes, I thought that the ending was very creepy. I was also shocked that the mother had possessed the guy that was trying to kill the family.

She didnt possess Howie. She manipulated him at the mental hospital and had others ready to replace him.

Which is very clearly shown at the end when that newly released patient is released and she's in the other room and he keeps looking back at her.

I guess it's her warped sense of "motherly love" in which she wants to protect her child against what she perceives as harm. She's very twisted indeed. So in a sense Howie was sort of a victim too as is this newly released patient will be. And yet she sits in there without anyone suspecting her.

YEAH! that was the only part through the whole damn thing that scared me. She just looks demonic!

My god she totally freaked me out every time the camera was on her. That actress has the most unbeleivably evil expressions.
