Looks like an underrated movie?

Some movies become cult classics because they capture the spirit of a past time really well. Like the ghostbusters is so 1980s or John Wayne's westerns. Or like that other Australian movie about living in the suburbs.

Well I feel Wog Boy is like that. The lead actor puts so much personality and captures the ethos of his childhood so well, that this movie will stad as a classic depction of that enjoyable and funny time.

That's why I feel this movie is underaated. Plus!! its really funny lol

And I think he is like the New Fonzie!!!!!!!!!!!! <3<3<3

As a typically labeled 'Wog' myself, I feel it's relatable, with the humor in reality and all... so it's a classic to me already. I don't care what others think. I don't need a label or brand upon the movie to dictate anything.

But I guess most of the others in Australia (non-wogs) they don't really see anything funny, because they're lifestyle, was a bit more different, and the way they interacted through their social life wasn't the same. So it may be a little confusing. And that's understandable.

All in all, I enjoyed it. It's really a "like it or not" kinda movie.

It's an ordinary movie, did have a few decent laughs in it though.

Not a 5.4 but not a classic either. Somewhere between 6 and 7 would be fair. Decent enough movie, entertaining, funny but not too stupid.

I am a non-wog and found this film to be one of the funniest Australian films I have seen. Some things I laughed out loud at was:-

The debate about who would win a fight between Jean-Claude Van Damme and Hercules.

When the guy being chased by Tony the Yugoslav runs into the woman's bathroom, and the following dialouge occurs.

Woman:- "What are you doing here?"

Man being chased:-"Shut and wash your hands, you unhygenic bitch!"

Also, liked the Ministry of Employment where it is a bigger bludge than the workforce it investigates.
