Anyone else notice this?

It's been almost eight years since I've seen this, and it has no effect on the movie, but in the scene when Pierre goes to see his father Junebug's comedy show, they show Pierre watching. I notice Pierre has a very relaxed lean against a pole, almost a little too relaxed for someone as uptight as Pierre.

Just a funny observation that always stuck out to me. Not a goof or anything

Oh stewardess...I speak jive.

It shows he appreciates his father's talent(absorbing it even) but he dosent understand why his father let his pride and integrity get in the way of him becoming a bigger star.

"No my brotha, you got ta buy yo OWN!"

Pierre DeLaCroix was able to be his real self (Peerless Dothan) around his father. It also didn't hurt that Junebug's comedy allowed Peerless and the rest of the audience to be real. The whole Pierre DeLaCroix persona is contrived.

Not entirely, even his father at one point questioned where his ridiculously refined "accent" came from.

When theres no more room in Hollywood, remakes shall walk the Earth.
