For Being U.S. Marshalls They Were'nt Real Bright!
I would certainly expect that a team of experienced U.S. Marshalls
would be very prepared for escorting a federal witness to safety.
After they were stranded in the desert they kept on repeating how
they had no water, food, or any means of communicating with the
U.S. Marshalls office in Los Angeles. Why since they were going on
a very long drive through the desert that they could end up being
so ill prepared and having no backup means of communication?!
Their cellular phones were of no use in the desert and I would
have expected them to have two-way radios or some means of high
tech communication devices handy. And embarking on a trek in
that very hot environment without water and food! Get real, this
was a very implausible part of the script and a big plot hole
as well! They should not have trusted that local sheriff to
contact the federal office in LA and he ended up turning on
the group and murdering the lovely lady marshall! Other than
what I've pointed out the movie was'nt too bad and yet it
could've been much better written. Not bad for the Sci-Fi Channel.
