LOL Jesus was a man was he not??
So in that case he would have had all of the emotions a man would have.
I frankly thought he played a more 'realistic' Jesus than I've seen before, He played him like he was frustrated and human and struggling with his place in it all.
In Jesus's time he was renounced several times by many before crucifixion,The man was trying to spread a belief system, a religion, and he really didn't become the Jesus we know today until after his death..Death propels someone higher and more mythical like.
I actually thought he did a great job and his "father, why have you forsaken me?" scene on the cross was brilliant.
And LMAO about you complaining about him doing America Psycho 2 years later...That's called versatility and range, and is the mark of a good actor.
