What was with the ending? (spoilers)
I think they totally changed it from the book's perspective and made it a total letdown. Even to this day, whenever I watch the movie, I think to myself, "That's it???"
Any thoughts or comments on this?

I know the book's ending. I just didn't like how they did it in this movie, how Brom was knocked out then the real Headless Horseman appears. I was expecting the chase to grow even more epic from that point, but the Headless Horseman just leaves Ichabod and rides off into the night. I was expecting a lot more, especially since Ichabod had been a complete jerk throughout this entire movie.

They were faithful to the book for most of the movie. They should have had Ichabod cross the bridge and have the head thrown at him by the Horseman, as was done in the book.
