Decent, but 'The Union' was much better

I could now write 500 words detailing WHY The Union is better, but I'd much rather you watch it and decide for yourself. I'm not trying to put this one down, as I realize its focus was more centered on the history and the laws surrounding it, and also that is almost 10 years older than The Union.

That said, I strongly recommend watching The Union if this documentary was at all interesting/entertaining to you.

Sorry, but The Union is nothing more than fundamentalist *beep* by the LDS Church, and you are a moron for believing it! The movie has NOTHING to do with the subject matter at hand, which is the ill-treatment of cannabis and its users. Please keep on topic, or get lost-we don't need anything from a *beep* so-called Christofacist 'sect' that disdains homosexuality and promotes crappy 'vampire' movies that promote chastity with vampires. Better yet, go and have a smoke of pot yourself-it's far more liberating than any doctrine from a polygamist moron like Joseph Smith.

Haha, I was like, "Huh?" when I saw that reaction. In your initial post, you seemed like an advocate for pot and it would seem strange for you to promote a movie that's anti-pot.

I think that poster just got The Union mixed up with another movie of a very similar title.

What other pot docs have you seen? I just saw "Super High me" which was okay, but I'm sure there are much better docs out there than that one. I'll check out The Union. 8.5/10 on imdb...that's pretty good.

Yea, same here. I think he got the Union i was referring to mixed up with this one: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1358518/ which fits his description (although at 25 votes I have no idea how he even knows about it lol).

As for more pot docs, not many around really. Grass and The Union are the only ones I've seen that specifically take a look at the concept. Just looking over the Super High Me page it seems like its more of a comedy? Just so you know, The Union is more documentary-serious style.

Let me know what you think once you watch it! The first time I did, I wanted to start my own farm :P

Chenzi, watched The Union. Excellent documentary! It covers pretty much everything you need to know about pot. Just a year ago, I thought pot killed brain cells as well, and the source of that myth was really interesting. I wish I could force everyone against it to watch this movie. The guy with MS was definitely the most powerful moment of the movie.
