4 years have past!

And this is what you get? The first one is ten times better than this. They didnt even do anything to make the dragons fit into the scenes. And the ending was even more cheesier than the first one. This is a disgrace!!

Yeah, I know! Every time I hear the song "To the Stars." (the Dragonheart theme) I feel like crying because of Draco's sacrifice. I don't know what about that movie got me, but the ending had tears rolling down my cheek. I didn't shed a tear or even like the second one that much. I do not consider it the official sequel of dragonheart. My version of DH2 would involve the dragons coming back and the world would be right again.

EDIT: If I had the authority, I would punish the creators of DH2 and tell them to make a new, better movie and denouce all claims to DH2 being the official sequell.

They deliberately set out to make this more of a follow on film rather than a straight up sequel, that was specifically for even younger children. I assume this is the result of a compromise due to a much lighter budget? With this in mind, in my opinion the bare bones of the story and the additional mythology are still salvageable...

I just wish they had invested more in the franchise :(

I agree with you and in prequels there would have been a chance to see a more teams of these charming dragons!
