It Would Have Been Good Except For One Thing . . .

Great movie! I was waiting for years for this movie, and finally watched it. It is a combination of 8 Days A Week and American Pie. But one thing that strikes me, is Larisa Oleynik. I think, she is not only talented, but also very gorgeuos! The thing I can't stand about the film is that she turns out to be a lesbian. I thought being the girl next door would of have her fallen for Matthew! Come on does anyone agree with me. Perfect girls who live next door aren't ment to be lesbians! Am I right?

I think that's the entire reason they made her a lesbian. It was a nice plot point and it was unexpected. I think it was very sweet.

I have to say I thought it was possible that he would end up with the girl next door. Can't say i'm dissapointed though, been a lesbian and all kinda makes me hope i'll meet my girl next door. And look on the bright side mate Larisa is just ACTING a part, i'm pretty sure she's straight in real life, so you still have a chance.

What, am I the only one in the whole world who could say from the start that she would turn out to be a lesbian?

First time I saw the movie, one of the first scenes, I can't quite remember how I reasoned but I figured her for a femme-dyke, I think it was the cleaning and the attempts at living up to her imaginary high expectations from her mother etc, that gave her away.
