From memeory, I don't belive there was any episode that one of the 'main characters' didn't die. In the first one that big as reptile got wounded and was eaten, the large flying one died, lots of Diplodocus died, obviously the T-Rex. That massive marine thing washed up. I can't remember the other ones, years since I watched any of them!
shareYes, some of the main characters died in all of them. The one you couldn't remember was the Arctic episode with the Leallynasaura (sp?), and it also stated that more main ones died. But I can' tell who the main charcters were in "New Blood" and "Cruel Sea". Ep. 1 showed lots of Coelophysis dinosaurs but they didn't seem to have any personalities, at all. They were all just running around and stuff. I think the focus was on the Ophthalmosaurus in Ep. 3 but also on the Liopleurodon, though.

Episode 1 mentions a female Coelophysis which survives, Episode 2, the female Diplodocus survived, Episode 3, the Opthalmosaurus survived but the Liopleurodon didn't, Episode 4, the Ornithoceirus died, Episode 5, there wasn't really a main character, Episode 6, the T-Rex died.

1: Coelophysis female - survived
2: Diplodocus female - survived
3: Opthalmosaurus - survived
4: Ornithocheirus - deceased
5: female Leallynosaura - deceased I think
6: female Rex - deceased
So it's 50-50.
