This series needs a Special Edition, cgi makeover!

I watched it a few months ago and even though most of the cgi still looks fairly good certain scenes look quite ropey. you can see through some of the flying repltiles on the beach, the animatronic heads look way too stiff and unconvincing and that Tyrannosaurus looks a bit dubious. With a few tweaks here and there i think it could be improved.

I'd also like to see a new series and like some of you on here...without the silly human interaction [like Prehistoric Park which was unbelievable and downright silly].

That's exactly what I've been dreaming about recently.

With each watching, it just gets harder and harder to see the animals behind the puppets and SFX, 'cause they look like that... puppets and SFX.

Yes those puppets do look a bit long in the teeth now. i'm really surprised they haven't re-released it with upgraded effects seeing as tv and film companies like to get as much mileage from their productions as possible. Another special edition I'd like to see is the Lost World with Bob Hoskins as I think this could do with more dinosaur herd shots.
