I cried on Giant of the Skies

My eyes started welling up when the Ornithocerius died at the end and there was sad music and even at the beginning

reply

Really? It was sad (kinda like Titanic- you knew it was coming), but I never found it to be tear-jerking.

I was saddened by the deaths of Big Al, Ornithocheirus, Liopleurodon and Rex family. It was all very compelling.

reply

It was sad... but even when I tired, I couldn't jerk any tears. It was like when Turaga Lhikan is killed by the Makuta of Metru Nui... a sad happening, but I never cry to it. I feel sorrow, yes, but no tears. Dinobot's demise in Code of Hero is more of a tear-jerker, to me, at least.

A cookie if you know what the heck I was babbling about.

reply

You're babbling about Bionicle and probably Beast Wars. I must be one hell of a loser.

By the way, gimmie my cookie. I'm hungry.

I was *beep* hartbroke at this episode lol,i got really wrapped up in it,easily my fave episode of the series.

reply

Okay, after having listened to the track "Giant of the Skies" from the soundtrack, let me rethink my former opinion: this is a tearjerker. Gave me goosebumpy shivers. What a great score.

reply

The entire episode is such a sad lament...and the sunset in the background as it lays dead on the beach...very powerful images with a very powerful soundtrack.
