Titanic reference?
When he's in the ktchen with Rose and they're about to flee, she leaves, the way he screams Rose is exactly like in Titanic. Reference, or no?

I doubt it. I think it's just a coincidence that it's the same actor calling out the same name. I haven't read the book, but I'm assuming that Dean Koontz named the character Rose. So if Billy Zane wants to get her attention, he'd call out her name, which just happens to be Rose.
