Twenty Twelve

If you enjoyed 'People Like Us' check out BBC4's new comedy series about the team preparing for the Olympics, also written & directed by John Morton. The voiceover is by David Tennant of all people, which distracts slightly from the very Mallard-style way it is written, but there's still much to appreciate.

There's even an interviewer character who, whilst not Langham, is clearly inspired by (perhaps even meant to be? ) Mallard.

Pure Morton comedy gold. Has his mark of genius all over it. Shame that Chris Langham is probably considered 'persona non grata' nowadays as Roy Mallard would have just been the icing on this delicious comedy cake. More please!!!

I agree, Langham as Mallard would have been awesome... I'm still wondering who is playing the interviewer in Twenty Twelve, it is almost an impersonation of him...

No disrespect to Tennant but his voice just seems too sensible and capable to be delivering the confused/nonsensical dialogue that Langham was perfect at.
