Well I'm a big fan of even the most abysmal "disaster movies" and I watched this, thinking it was one of those mediocre low-budget disaster movies (because of the damn misleading alternative title "California Quake") and I was EXTREMELY disappointed. They were just running around in the forest, the action-sequences were ridiculous, and although I have a soft spot for Jack Scalia and I like both Vladimir Kulich (13th Warrior) and Reginald Veljohnson (Die Hard) the acting here seemed so lifeless it was just sad. Kudos to young Scott Terra though (Eight Legged Freaks, Daredevil) who delivered probably the best acting in the entire thing. Janet Gunn in the lead was absolutely horrible. I am not at all surprised she has the weakest career of all the "stars" involved here. Maybe I wouldn't have been so disappointed if I knew in advance they were lying when trying to sell it off as a "disaster movie", but good it ain't.

It looked like an early 80's TV movie to me.
