that was on Disney Channel and the people went to court and declined to something er oher and refused to talk, and the guy got beaten, and some girl got to work in the house and saw the list of people to be sold next... or something? it's been years i dont totally remember, but that movie was amazing and i was wondering if this was it.

It's been 14 years since this movie was on TV. I remember taping it on VHS, but I haven't found it amongst my tapes...but I don't remember a scene like that. I remember a scene where Danny Glover was in town and his little boy was with him and the little boy wandered into a whites-only restaurant, and when Danny Glover found him and there was a young white man in the restaurant who made Danny Glover spank the little boy for coming in there...so Danny Glover put the boy over his knees and told him, "One day you and I will eat here together," and then you saw him lift his hand up to swat the boy and just as his hand was coming down, they went to the next scene and he wanted to take his son to school, and the little boy was still mad about his daddy spanking him. That's probably the only scene I remember, it having been so long ago. I was living in Philadelphia at the time when that came on TV.
