I miss this show, it was awesome. They should really bring it back. I
mean the shows on TV now just lack creativity. But My Pet Monster, I watched all
the time. It was unique and creative. I mean a friendly monster that lived in
the tree house, fought crime and there was something to do with
sneezing and he either grew or shrank... i think hiccups reversed the
it... i must repeat myself, best show ever...

Yes, yes, this was such an amazing and creative show! When I was little, I wanted all of my stuffed animals to come alive like Monster. Oh, it was such a great show - funny writing, a GREAT voice for Monster.... the garbage! And Princess!

Does anyone remember that episode where we actually get to see Monster's homeland? I have vague non-hallucinogen-induced memories of seeing his parents and homeland....

this was my absolute, FAVOURITE show when I was little. they should bring it back, i really want to see it again. sigh, there were some good times back in the day.

Yeah, I totally remember the episode when they go back to Monzie's home. They run into those three little monsters, rescue them and whatnot. Wasn't this a two part episode? They end up jumping onto an air balloon or zephyr or something and floating through the portal? Man, this show has to be put to DVD!!

I do remember the concept where the Monster comes to life when his shackles a released by a magic key.

I also remember the Monster's enemy "Beaster" who comes out of this portle to find the monster and bring him back.

I loved this show but it comes with bad memories.
I think I only watched this show because I wanted one of the giant stuffed my pet monster.I was so amazed it has those big orange shackles you could break.My mom didn't get me one over because it was like 65 bucks or some crap and damn if she was was gonna pay that much for a stuffed animal.Stupid cheap ass mom.

My dad taped this show for me on VHS and I still have the tapes. Absolutely ADORED this show. It was SOOOOO good! I looked up the series on Amazon and they don't have it @ amazon.com but on amazon.ca it says they do. But it doesn't show an image or give any info on the series so I'm kinda weary about buying it...

Ah well, watching the old commercials on those VHS tapes can be just as much fun as watching the show! Haha.

This was a alright show, only lasted one season. Global here in Canada repeated it for over 10 years. Talk about support for Can-con(Canadian content).
