The greatest movie ever?
Yes.
shareit could have been better
Don't confuse my lack of funds for company loyalty.
I'm gonna go with no.
What was with the tacky fart and burp noises? Were the filmmakers trying to be funny?
Were the filmmakers trying to be funny?Yeah, this was supposed to be a comedy horror. It just goes to show that it's actually possible for a comedy to be only unintentionally funny.
Umm, er, gotta go with no lol. It's no Schindler's list but I did enjoy it. For a Tomb of Terrors film it was one of the better ones I've watched so far honestly. The girls were hot, the humour was decent and for a very low budget flick the FX and acting weren't terrible. Obviously this is not a big hollywood film but giving leeway for the budget etc. they did a fairly good job compared to most films of this kind. And that uncle Marty was a pretty funny character. I gave it an 8, my average rating. Certainly deserves more than it's current 2.7 rating.
shareYour average rating is an 8? On a scale of 1-10, an 8 should be pretty far above average!

I rate movies as percentages from 1-100%, like on a test grade. Basically a 6.5=65% just passing like a D- grade. I mostly rate movies based on how enjoyable they are so if I enjoyed a film I'll rarely give it lower than a 7 which compared to most I guess makes me overly generous as the top rated films here only get 7 or 8 average ratings. Here's my breakdown.
10:Masterpiece or one I will want to watch frequently, a personal fav. I'm sparing with 10s generally though. A+
9: Above Average, will watch fairly often, almost a 10 but not quite, it comes just short of perfection. A
8: My average rating, a B. If I honestly liked a film and would want to watch it again I'll usually give it at least an 8. Anything worth watching is worth watching twice. If I watch a film and have no desire to see it again then it fails IMO.
7: Below Average, C grade. I don't regret watching it, would watch it again, probably less frequently than most films. May or may not buy the DVD but will watch it if it comes on tv.
6: Grade D. I don't regret watching it but wouldn't buy the DVD. I'd probably watch it if it came on but I'd otherwise not need to see it again. If I videotaped it I'd likely tape over it.
5 or Lower: Grade F, fail. Didn't like it much, doubtful I'd ever watch it again. The lower the score the worse. With maybe one or 2 exceptions there are few films I'll rate lower than 5. There are few films I honestly HATE but there are a few.
Should probably post this in my profile. So Shower of Blood wasn't a masterpiece, but it held my interest throughout and I'll likely watch it again someday. For a Tomb of Terrors film it was better than average which also gives it a few extra % points so it's an 8 in my book.
If you were asking if it was the crappiest movie of all time...then you'd get a yes from me. This film is a steaming pile of crap. The people behind this film make Ed Wood look like a genius.
