has there been a region 1 release, im guessing not seeing as how i cant find it anywhere on the net. if someone knows where to find a region 1 release of this please email me with a location otherwise i have to buy a region 4 dvd and a new dvd player. thanks

I don't know of one, but it's been a while since I bought my region 4 DVD. However, I can play mine in my computer. Most new laptops/desktops are equipped with multi-region players or at least multi-region for a certain number of times. For instance, my laptop has four switches on regions - it started out on region 1, then I put in the region 4 DVD, so it switched modes. I can do that two or three more times before it permanently stays on that region.

Continuing what the guy above me said.... If I were you, I'd get a dvd ripping program, then buy the region 4 dvd. That way, you can rip the dvd, and burn a copy to a new dvd in region 1 format. Most dvd ripping programs let you do that.
