I watched this movie and really enjoyed it, however it reminded me of a Supernatural meets Dumb and Dumber. The Supernatural with the strong bond and the cool lay back attitude and Dumb and Dumber because of the sillyness and the quirkyness.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. I'm sure Supernatural ripped this off somewhat. Even the two main actors in Supernatural are facsimiles of the two guys in Soulkeeper. They even drive a very similar classic American muscle car,
