Found this for 6.50 at a pawn shop...

...is it worth it? I must've been part of a 2-pack since it has the Wal-Mart banner at the top that says 2-for-1 or something. I love G.R. so I'm just wondering if it's worth it for 6 bucks.

I just got it on DVD for $1 at a yard sale, and if you're a Romero fan, yea, it's worth 6 bucks.

I bought it for a dollar at a flea market here in Miami, it sat on my shelf for quite sometime until I watched it last night... I didn't like it at all and will most likely write a review of it sometime today.

My partner, who is an avid Romero fan, did not enjoy it either.

reply

In that case, I withdraw my generalization. You never really know what a Romeo fan might like! His movies do vary quite a bit.

reply

His movies do vary, but I think Romero fans are interested in his total body of work, as I am. This wasn't one of his best films, but it was still worthwhile to this Romero fan. 6/10 stars.

But I think $6.50 is a bit much to pay for this film – or any film, for that matter. I paid $1.50, and I think I got my money's worth.

Man, it's been so long I forgot what I had even said. It's been one post a year in this thread over the last three years! :)

reply

Indeed! Such is the nature of relatively forgotten films like this. It also seems like on IMDb people respond to the two or three newest threads, while I do a lot of digging to older threads to find a topic where I actually have something to say.

Often I'll watch a movie and ask a question, then a few years later I get an answer and can't even remember the specifics of the movie. So I thank the person graciously and pretend I know what they're talking about. ;-)
