Is Sony EVER going to release this on blu-ray?!

I'm sure it would look and sound amazing on Blu-ray, I wonder what is the delay?
C'mon already Sony release this on Blu-ray!
Or better yet, maybe Criterion will release a special edition Blu-ray? They would be great.
Until then I will just have to stick with my crappy dvd I guess...😖
