Finally I found this cartoon

I remembered this when I was a kid, but in the years I forgot the name of it. I've spent 8 years trying to find it again and finally I did.
Those anyone know if it's available on DVD?

There are currently two DVD versions avaiable,
the R2 french release with french audio and no subtitles, and the R2 norwegian release with french audio and norwegian subtitles.

So if you don't speak frecnh or norwgian, you'll have to wait a while longer. It'll probably be released in the US or UK eventually, but nothing has been announced or even rumoured thus far.

You're not the only one. I've been looking longer than 8 years and it was frustrating as hell. IIRC, this show aired before Mysterious Cities of Gold in the one hour block on Nickelodeon.

This is the prophesy around which the plot evolves, and it is so relevant when it comes to finding the serial now!!!

I've been searching from "strate" (passage) to strate for one year to find it...

In French I must admit,

BUT,

when I was a child I recorded all episodes with the only means available to me in the 1980's (reproducing them on a piece of paper immediately after the end of each episode, as accurately as I could). So now I read my 20+ years old scripts, then watch the French episode, and more memories come up... It's the best I have managed so far, and it's not bad at all.

If you're ok with the French (original!) edition you'll ****definitely*** find it on the French ebay (www.ebay.fr), with the aid of a friend who understands French.

(I can't describe how I shivered as I was going through the buying stages on ebay; or when I opened the parcel... As for the friend, I bought him a box of chocolates to express my gratitude...)

There are also a few episodes on youtube.

As for myself, I'm trying to find the time to learn French...

I now believe that we both got it wrong. The reason being that we didn't hear the original prophecy, but a translation to some other language. I got the French DVD, where the prophecy sounds like this:

voyazer, dinapa de sama, constri de sama on marsa.

(that's how it sounds, not how it's spelt in French - I don't understand French!)

I'd guess that "sama" means "way" or "path" and you guessed the meaning of "voyazer" and "constri". So we both get the prophecy right, but not exactly. I'll bother my French speaking friend again...
