Similar Series

There's another show from back in the 80s with a VERY similar plot that I'm trying to remember. It also involved Arcadians and a dying sun and even a craft nearly identical to Tehrig, however, IIRC, it was set not on Earth, but on other planets. And it was in English, not French; probably dubbed though.

Any ideas?
