I don't think it will ever be released on DVD. Usually shows that are DVD worthy are either very popular, or have a huge cult following. Don't get me wrong, I loved Get Real but lets face it, it wasn't a very popular show. Fox probably just tossed it way back in the archives, never to be opened again.

Of the totally forgotten cancelled TV shows, I would think that this one might have more of a chance of being released on DVD than others because Anne Hathaway is doing so much now. The studio could try to cash in on that. But I have to agree it's unlikely. It's a shame, I really liked this show. I even liked the parts when they'd break the fourth wall and talk to the audience. I missed it when they stopped doing that. I'd love to see it on DVD.

With Jesse Eisenberg doing so well now, I'd think there would be a chance. He and Anne are both part of the newest fancy Vanity Fair cover.

It's a shame that this series has completely fallen through the cracks and has been completely forgotten. A lot of older shows which featured future breakout stars such as Freaks and Geeks (James Franco, Seth Rogen & Jason Segel) and Roswell (Katherine Heigl) found new life on DVD. Get Real featured 2 future Oscar nominees and is almost completely forgotten -- you can't even bring up the theme song or clips on YouTube.

I'm really surprised it hasn't been released given how popular some of the cast grew to be.

What we really need is the unaired episodes. I have been searching for them for years.
