Anyone else slightly disappointed?

I just got done watching this on YouTube for the first time. I found it funny but it didn't seem to be anything special. Surprisingly I did miss the laugh track which I usually find annoying, the jokes were very scattershot and overall the show tried to do too much within a 33-minute time span. If it had been a bit longer and had time to develop the storylines/jokes I might have enjoyed it more. Rowan and Tony were excellent, everyone else was just there, although Rik Mayall was awesome and I loved Colin Firth's cameo ("that's for Kenneth Branaugh's uncut version of 'Hamlet'!"). But generally I wasn't impressed.

"I guess it depends how much time they had to develop/write it. They may have been asked at the eleventh hour to do it for Comic Relief, who knows."

Sorry but this was not made for "Comic Relief", it was made for and originaly shown at "The Millenium Dome".

Yeah, We know how much of a success the Millennium Dome was *roll eyes*

Yes I know. I was only replying to someone who obviously did not know, and has now deleted the post I replied to.

I kind of liked it...some of the jokes fell a bit flat, although I did enjoy Blackadder berating Shakespeare and Queenie's bit. Oh yes, and Blackadder recognizing the Darling descendant and calling him a git for seemingly no reason. My favorite part though, was Bladrick's "cunning plan"...which, as per usual, requires some slight alterations. That aside, Melchett wasn't given enough to do and Darling, too, seemed a bit underutilized. I think with a little more time--perhaps another half-hour--it could've been better, as it's main flaw was that it seemed sort of rushed. Rowan and Tony have still got that old chemistry, though, and Miranda and Hugh are still on their A-games.
