Shoul the Middle eastern women be able to divorce her man by saying

If a Middle Eastern man can why shouldn't the woman? But if she does, she should have witnesses! I wonder if women from that region will ever achieve true equality with the men of that region.
I know here in America men make more than women, but it's not by much. And there hasn't been a female president, but next presidential election could elect a woman. I hope that all Middle Eastern women will be able to live to their utmost potential and not how some man tells her how she should and will live.
