How?

I missed the first 15 minutes, or mabye more. How did the boys get switched at the hospitial? One commnet about this movie stated that a hospital employee swichted name braclets, is that right? How did he do this; those braclets are difficult to remove? Why did he do this?

reply

When the employee was getting the cribs ready for the babies, he was holding the bracelets ready to put in the designated crib for each baby. One of his superiors came in and told him to leave what he was doing and go with her, and he accidentally put the wrong bracelet in each crib.

Long live Mr Flibble!

Linda Welles told the nurse that it didn't look like her baby, she had glimpsed her baby when he was pulled out of her. She stated her baby was red and splotchy but the nurse insisted it was her baby and that he cleaned up nicely (explaining the difference in appearance) and showed her the i.d. bracelet. Luke had the appearance of a baby who was born by cesarean section (which Sara had). His face had a smoother look.
This is a true story, but the story was changed quite a bit.

reply

Of course it was changed. They had to make the men look like pigs and the women look morally perfect like they are prone to do.

reply

Did anybody else notice that when the hospital employee mistakenly put the ID bracelets in the bassinet things, the names Luke and Morgan were ALREADY ON the bracelets, even though the babies hadn't been born yet???

reply

Babies can be, and often are, named before they are born.

reply

Yes, that was confusing. It was a purposeful goof for expository purposes.

I'm sure many if not most parents "name" their babies before they are born. I'm sure you can't officially name a child or have the bracelet printed up before they are born. Look what could happen!

reply

It's on Netflix.
