I think it's much better than Scary Movie.

"Shriek if You know what you did last Friday the 13th" was set to be made BEFORE Scary Movie. Then it was a race to see which movie would be finisihed first.

"Scary Movie" was finished first and had much greater financial backing than the EARLIER "Shriek if you know..."

Fearing that they would be viewed as rip off's of "Scary Movie" if it was released in theatres after it, they sold the rights to the film to be aired on the USA network.

"Shriek" was written first, and began filming first. Unfortunatley the Waynes brothers are more well known and popular and got more money.

But dont say that "Shriek" ripped off "Scary Movie"
No ripping off was done (the stories are in no way similar)

and if there was going to be any ripping off it would have gone the other way since "Shriek" started first. I am not saying that there was, but it is impossible for "Shriek" to have copied.

Yea, scary movie was really great too, but i actually thought shreik was alot funnier! Either way they were both cheaply made comedys meant to cash in on stupidity humor and rake in the $Mulah$(bling bling baby)... AND IT WORKED!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHEEEHEEEEHOHOHOHA!uh hem hurahl...sorry...
