Jamie Foxx and Mike Epps were amazing. The movie had everything: Plot, emotion, action, suspense, comedy, etc. Should have been nominated for some type of film award.
I can't believe I hadn't heard of it when it was first released. The bad guy has got to be one of the worst villains ever. He was a terrorist for real!
I'm from NYC so I can also remember how things were here right before 911. Kept me at the edge of my seat for entire film.
I had never heard of it until I saw it playing on one of the premium channels. Was very good, particularly Jamie Fox (before he was an A-list movie star). Also has Jeffrey Donovan in a very un-Michael Weston-like role. Definitely worth the watch and deserving of a higher IMDB rating than it has.

I remember seeing trailers of this back in the day. I don't remember it being advertised right because I am sure that this movie didn't do well at the box office. However, I did watch it on HBO when it debuted a year later and liked it a lot. I thought that this was one of the most underrated movies I have ever seen. This is basically an action comedy and Jamie Foxx was still doing mainly comedic roles, but I am sure that this was his one of his first stabs at action films.
