Copy?

The entire last part of Baadshah was an exact copy of the movie Nick of Time(1995). Has anyone else noticed this? By 'the last part' I mean the whole plot of killing the governor to save a child.

Yes, the idea's in the film are indeed copied, but if you ever have gone to India most of our films hardly ever go there. The Indian Film Industry tries to bring the same thrills and fun that our American Films have but into one feature film that being entertaining to them. It might seem weird but that is the way Indians get to experience bits of our films. In whatever language, that being Hindi, Punjabi, or just plain Sanskrit. Sometime things in a foreign film seem a bit like plagurism, but they are not. I am just a cultural observer.

I also noticed when I was watching this movie, that it was reminding me very much of an old movie I saw as a kid. If Looks Could Kill, about an agent who is killed and a boy with the same name is mistaken for him, and gets fitted with all kinds of high tech gadgets (a car, boots that stick to walls, exploding gum)

also, one of the good agents is poisoned on the airport by a female agent

I was so surprised to find these exact events were happening! I find it hard to beleive it's coincidence. (though If Looks Could Kill was a kinduv spoof in its own right, so perhaps both movies are stealing from somewhere else.)

also, right at the end, the whole bomb jacket, driving vehicle into building, climbing to escape, and the fall, straight out of Rush Hour

You're just a hater. He's made much more than 3-4 good movies. Too bad for you that 'copied crap cinema' commercial films are loved so much. If you go by that logic, you could say all the bollywood actor's films are 90% copied...
