Sorry if the question is lame but I have to ask : was Larry just a bad anesthetist? An alcoholic?
I mean, at the end of the movie he acts as a good guy but he's the one who messes up the anesthesia right? He's the one that doesn't notice the patient crying when he should've had?
Alright he's not a cold blood killer but isn't he a frigging danger to his patients? Clay has been indeed a very unlucky young man (beside being a very rich one)!

He was an alcoholic and probably a bad anesthetist. It seems that whole hospital was one of the poorer ones with lower quality doctors. I mean Dr. Harper had 4 malpractice suits against him, and I think those were just due to his carelessness, not deliberately trying to kill the patient.

On a side note, that was Christopher McDonald, who I'll forever think of as the douchey golfer in Happy Gilmore.
