How did Larry understand their guilt?

Hi!At the end of the film Larry reports the the doctors' guilt to the police. How did Larry understand their guilt?

reply

he might got the dots connected. Sam saying that he doesn't worked in that hospital(I mean, how does she know about that..) and Clay crying during surgery, the doctors running and trying to go away are some points to take their guilt in consideration

After her mother figures out there is foul play by going through he girls purse, she calls her doctor, lets him know somethings up then committs suicide. When her doctor comes and takes over the surgery, he tells the bad doctors that they know something was done and that they can run, but the police were on the way. As this happens, Dr Larry is seen overhearing this and thats when he learns about it. He then goes and helps the cops find the bad guys.

So how did the mother's doctor exactly understand that there was a crime. I mean how did he become sure about it? Yes, the mother learned some things about Sam however, it was just an estimation on the crime. I mean how did the mother or her doctor become certainly sure about the crime?
