12 Years Later

Esmeralda was one of the first telenovelas that I saw growing up. I remember watching it at 7pm with my mom on Univision and I loved how it the romance between E&JA and G&A was but now I seem to like the G&A story because it was so tragic and beautiful. It was shown again on Telefutura last year but I had little time to watch because I was in classes during the time it was on but it still brought back many good memories in watching it. Colunga is still to me one of the most handsome men that I have ever seen on a screen.

I know, I have it all on DVD. Amazing series. Still love it. And I enjoy seeing Fernando Colunga and Leticia Calderon in their new roles today.

15 years after, we lost several of cast members, so I want us to remember:

Enrique Lizalde (Rodolfo)
Iran Eory (Sor Piedad)
Dina de Marco (Crisanta)
Noe Muyarrama (Fermin)
Raul Padilla (Troleybus)

And to be happy about all who are still with us. Amazing, inspiring cast.
