Did this never get a U.S. release? I had read from one person's comments that it had not but another person's comments said it had been on Fox.

Yes, I remember it being on Fox Kids for a short time (6 or less episodes). I think the show was short lived because (1) Fox cut and pasted episodes, thus leaving the viewer confused; and (2) the time slot was 6 am- IMO a bad time slot.

It aired the same season as a few other quickly-cancelled Fox Kids series, including Fox's butchered re-edit of Vision of Escaflowne. I think it started at 6 am, then Fox started moving it around the schedule without warning and it lost whatever viewership it had.
