Best part?

I think Bobo ruled big-time!
I also liked the ending... fun!

The three short stories were good, but my favourite was the wraparound story with John Ritter, especially at the end, when he stabbed the husband in the neck and then chased the wife, demending her to "Make me an offer!" Then when she drove away and looked at all the other people in the neighbourhood, who were all doing strange deranged things. That was so cool!

i have a question in the last story come to granny, was the boy really the granny killer or was there really a granny killer, i saw the movie, but i ended up being confused and i forgot how it ended exactly

(Spoiler) The kid wasn't the granny killer. As for this anthology as a whole, I was a bit disappointed. All three stories were really predictable and not very funny or scary. Still, if I had to rate them, the granny killer was the best one of the three. The wraparound was hilarious, especially the opening and closing scenes.

K, I didn't think he was the granny killer but someone made it sound like he was or they thought that he was, so that's why I had asked to make sure. Anywho, I did like the movie and it was predictable and not that scary but I liked John Ritter's scenes and the granny killer story was the best one I thought.

I agree, that really was the best part, the Granny Killer story was the second best. Yay! I love this movie! Woohoo!

The John Ritter (main story line) one was the best.

Bobo the killer monkey killing sexy Buff Bagwell. I only wish they would have showed Bobo grab Buff and plunge those knifes into his body. They should have also had Bobo eating Buffs face, now that would have been scary.

The Granny Killer could have done without that over the top voice I think. But then again, if it didn't have it the tone would be completely different from the rest of the movie. Aside from that, it was my favorite of the bunch. Until the ending of course. How satisfying was that?!? I think every movie should end like this. I'm kidding. But man, I didn't think it would go so far. I was expecting it to hold back a little as most movies do

But man, I didn't think it would go so far. I was expecting it to hold back a little as most movies do, but there were severed body parts, exposions, what looked like a crossdresser firing a gun at a guy, a homicidal monkey with a penchant for climbing onto peoples back and eviscerating their throats, what more could you ask for. Then the explaination for the mysterious phone calls from the realtor office. All in all, I'll probably watch it again... eventually.

I rented the Cherry Falls/Terror Tract combo from my local video store and I've gotta say, I'm thoroughly impressed. Sure both were pretty well grounded in the B category (Cherry Falls a little less), but for B movies I was more entertained than i've been in a while. I'd give this combo a strong B.

the last 5 minutes were just so messed-up crazy how could you not love it? I was only half into the film but the last little bit had me laughing so hard.

The best part was John Ritter's line, after the 'Bobo' segment, "Oh, the monkey is long gone, nothing to worry about."

reply

I liked all the stories. All of them are great, but if I had to pick one as a favorite it would be "Come to Granny."

Clark's destiny = Superman, Lex Luthor & Lois Lane.

I definitely liked the wraparound the best! The end sequence of the neighborhood was hilarious! And John Ritter was amazingly subltly creepy!
