Relation with the book

I liked the animation, and the characters were imaged great (although I imagined Gramozeka totally different and not so much like a clown), but it's disappointing that they omitted so much of the story... Ah and the real Verhoven seemed like a villain even in the end.. and the fake Verhoven - wasn't he supposed to be an insect?.. And the captains... well in my eyes they look more like villains themselves with such supersharp features ;)
