Sergio Castellitto was so great in this movie (actually,as always....he's the best Italian actor IMO).
Why is it rated only 5.2/10??

Its rated 5.2/10 because hollywood is raised by jews
taht hate the Church and gives recognition to
those movies that insults Christ and the Church...........

Wasn't this movie done in Italy, not Hollywood? Besides, there is nothing in it that would be offensive to the Catholic Church. It does a pretty good job of depicting the Church the way it really is, more full of sinners than saints, but it also offers hope to those who wish to be saints.

I watched the movie today which is the anniversary of Padre Pio's death. The movie makes you appreciate him so much. I want to go back through all my books on Padre Pio.

I implore people not to order this film. It contains outright lies and slander against many of the people it portrays. The friary wanted nothing to do with this film, and the National Center for Padre Pio refuses to carry it.

It's one long slander against the Church, the priesthood and even St Pio's family. Please, don't give your money to this tripe.
