Luzhin defence was just a rook sacrifice.

Sacrifices are usuall in chess, especially among good players. But in this movie a simple rook sacrifice is "The Luzhin Defence"...
Funny for a player who could play blind 10 games at the same time, but needs so many years to find this sacrifice.

It wasn't even a real sacrifice, it was a forced mate-in-3 (sometimes called a "sham sacrifice" or "pseudo sacrifice" when you do it to force mate). It was basically a forced exchange, black rook for the white king (i.e., for the game), which obviously isn't a sacrifice on black's part.

I don't dance, tell jokes or wear my pants too tight, but I do know about a thousand songs.

I have 2 computers with different chess programs installed (because I am not that good). It always ends in a stalemate because computers will not make mistakes, and they will not make sacrifices or risks or forced exchanges.

Unless maybe the IBM Big Blue that they tried to make a computer think.

You really have not much idea about chess :)
