Did it anoy anyone else?

I love this movie but one thing really irritated me, that was the way Peter Streuss left a long pause every time he had to deliver a line, I don't know if this was down to him or the director. I felt like he just wanted to go to sleep. I found myself saying "Come on Mac hurry up and say something".
