Mistakes

Has there been any mistakes on Who wants to be a millionaire? Because I remember one question about West Side Story and what Shakepeare play adapted from that film. I said Romeo and Juliet but the contestant said something else and apparantly I was wrong.

I remember a couple of months ago, the show brought back a guy who missed a question about chemistry. But after experimenting and testing, the question had 2 correct answers. Apparently he must have choosen an answer that was wrong on the show but actually was right. Thats the only mistake I know. Did anybody see that episode?

Ed Toutant missed a 16,000 dollar question that had 2 correct answers. He came back and won 1.8 million dollars.

Have you ever? No I've never

I actually just came here to see if there was a thread about this.

I remember a question "Who directed Michael Jackson's Black or White music video" and the guy guessed John Landis... which I'm pretty sure is right... but, they said he was wrong. Then when Regis gave his speech, he said that Landis directed Thriller (which is also true).

I know you are, but what am I?

I'm almost positive there was a mistake yesterday (Friday). The question was who founded the original Academy and I'm almost positive its Plato (I was at the time of the show and now that I've looked into it Wikipedia agrees with me), but the guy said Socrates and the show said he was right.

A guy got a question wrong because he said Theodore Roosevelt was the youngest president inaugurated. They said it was JFK, but Theodore Roosevelt was the real correct answer.

Do you smell what Barack is cooking?

reply

JFK WAS the youngest president inaugurated. Theodore Roosevelt was the youngest president elected. When Roosevelt was president, the time period between election and inauguration was two months longer. Because of this, Roosevelt was older at his inauguration than Kennedy was. So the show's answer was correct.
