ok. one thing that has always bugged me about Ct...They dont explain what happens to Magus after the end of CT but they offer hints in CC...But i have afew problems..for one, in the black omen before u start the battle with Queen Zeal..you see yourselves inside glass tube things..why isnt Magus there? Second, in the opening movie in the ps1 version..in the photo of friends there is no Magus. Finally, in the ending of the ps1 version..Glenn gets his body back and Magus says ('defeat me and break the curse' or something). So does this imply that Magus was killed in that fight? Contrary to this, we find that in Radical Dreamers Magil is Magus and we find hints in CC to indicate Magus exists like..Lucca mentions him in the letter to Kid..Furthermore, an unknown figure stands behind Schala in the last photo. I've also heard that Square intended to include Magus in CC but they didnt have time (or space?). Can anyone confirm this? Anyway, just wanted to bring this up because its been bothering me and i would like to hear some other theories...

just to add, magus is the coolest character.

i think it's because you can choose in the fight between glenn and magus. you can fight him and thus kill him, or you make peace and you get magus as one of your characters. so that's maybe why he ain't in the photos etc. he's a sub character. and yeah. he is one of the coolest characters.

i have not played Chrono Cross though. =S so i can't say nuthin'bout that.

You don't see Magus in the glass tubes in the Black Omen because he is an optional character. Think how confused new players would be if they killed Magus when they had the chance, then went into the Black Omen and found him there. They'd go: "WTF!!?!"

It might lead the player to expect another fight with Magus, only to be disappointed that the coolest character in the history of RPG's won't make another appearance.
