only today would I notice this, before I wouldnt why? because I didnt kno of these bands except maybe RedHotChiliPeppers when I played this.
shareBack in 1995 when i 1st played Chrono i didnt really get into music much so i didnt know about those musicians, but when i got more into rock and metal and what not i started to realize this as a coincidence. Rock is kinda a big thing in Japan anyway, lotta awesome guitarists even tho they dont do it for fame really. Yngwie Malmsteen and Steve Vai do a lot of successful concerts over in Tokyo. So no, i dont think this is a coincidence, i dont think anythin is a coincidence in any video game to tell you the truth lol
