Has anyone watched Tony Shalhoub in Monk? When I watched SRM I didn't even know who he was, I just recognized Doogie Howser. However, I am now a fan of his and love him in this show.
For those of you who haven't watched it, his character Adrian Monk is like the polar opposite of Ian Stark.
Yeah he's great in Monk it's a really good show. I knew Shalhoub from wings and MIB though and he was pretty funny in both of those as well.
shareIt is interesting how minor characters on some shows end up doing well on others, or are unlikable on others. I never got into Wings, but really have liked Thomas Hayden Church in his other shows, like Ned and Stacey, where Debra Messing was great, but in her new cop comedy I just want to rip my eyes out, and only go the IMDB page to see others skewer just how bad it is, yet IT gets renewed? Similarly, Shaloub was awesome as Ian but I just never warmed to Monk.
