Digimon was amazing the first 2 seasons. Much better than Pokemon. Why did they do that stupid ending? Everyone gets a Digmon? It killed the rest of the season
I tried to watch S3, but its to painfull. Season 1 is maybe the greatest season ever in every type of TV-Series
I think the second season ending sucked. But the seasons that followed was worse. I never got into pokemon but i always liked DigiMon more.

Digmon was much more serious, it was really bad guys, not fools like Team Rocket.. Digimon could die, it was 2 world. Epic villains.

Also while TAmers started off weak it had a strong seond half that rivaled the first two seasons. Agree though that 4 and 5 were pretty bad though.
Season 3 was alright but season 4 was dumb when the kids could turn into Digimon themselves.

I really liked 1-4,I tried watching 5 I could not get into it and I tried watching the recent series it sucks imo. Did you hear they are making a new season with the characters from Season 1,that is something I am looking forward to

Just finished the second season of the newest one and it defintiely got better but still not as good as the first few.
I thought that was brilliant. It was more of a merger than an explicit transformation.

I just finished watching the ending of season 2.
My emotion was all over the place: Sad, happy, hatred, etc.
I too feel disappointed that they completely threw the concept of the chosen children out of the window and completely *beep* up my feeling.
I have always thought (as of recently, since I just recently found out how season 2 ended) that they built such a huge and epic story with a huge plot and the story got too big to finish, they ran out of time (and possibly money) to finish it
i'm assuming that the US version is accurate to the Japanese version
